Via Media и реформација на „католичанским принципима“

Abstract

У овом тексту анализираћемо намеру ране англиканске теологије да, и поред своје органске укључености у европски покрет реформације, постепено дистанцира себе од искључивог протестантског става према Римској цркви и да се, као аутентична 'национална' Црква са легитимним правом на самореформисање, позиционира негде између римокатолицизма и радикалних струја протестантизма, тј. да изабере 'умерену' еклисиолошку позицију или тзв. 'средњи пут' (виа медиа). У тексту се такође разматра концепт фоундатион оф Christianity Ричарда Хукера (који је конструисан у контексту апологије англиканског еклисиолошког становишта), упоређује се са старијим Лутеровим концептом нотае еццлесиае, и вреднује се његов теолошки капацитет и потенцијал за објашњење и превазилажење феномена схизме и губитка евхаристијског јединства у хришћанском свету.

The present paper aims at analysis of the intention of the early Anglican theology, notwithstanding its organic involvement in the European movement of the Reformation, to gradually distance itself from the extremely exclusive Protestant attitude towards the Church of Rome and to position itself somewhere between the Roman Catholicism and the radical streams of the Reformation. In other words, to take somewhat moderate ecclesiological position or to follow the so-called Middle way (via media) between the two opposed poles. The paper also examines the Richard Hooker's concept known as The foundation of Christianity (coined by Hooker in the context of the apologetic explanation of the Anglican ecclesiological viewpoint), compares it with the older Luther's notion of the notae ecclesiae, and tries to evaluate its theological capacity and potential for the explanation and possible overcoming of the phenomenon of schism and the loss of the Eucharistic unity in the Christian world.
