Допринос Борислава Лоренца у дијалогу теологије и психологије

Abstract

Борислав Лоренц (1883-1975), професор Богословског факултета Универзитета у Београду, својим радом је дао значајан допринос развоју дијалога теологије и психологије. Превођењем капиталног дела Сигмунда Фројда Увод у психоанализу Борислав Лоренц је извршио значајан утицај у области психологије и допринео њеној актуелизацији у тадашњој Краљевини Југославији. Такође, систематски се бавио питањима теологије и модерне психологије тога времена и тако поставио темеље сарадње ових двеју наука. Његови текстови, које пише као професор Богословског факултета, пружају могућност да се сагледају друштвене прилике и универзитетски дух тога времена. Намера нам је да покажемо ширину мисли која се у делу проф. Борислава Лоренца развијала на Богословском факултету, као и њено место у тадашњем друштву.

The work of Borislav Lorenc (1883-1975), professor at the Theological Faculty of the University of Belgrade, provided a significant contribution to the development of dialogue between theology and psychology. By his translation of Sigmund Freud's capital work, Introduction to Psychoanalysis, he exerted a considerable influence in the field of psychology and contributed to its actualization in the contemporary Kingdom of Yugoslavia. He also systematically explored issues in theology and modern psychology of his time (the first half of the 20th century), setting a foundation for collaboration of the two disciplines. The papers he writes as a professor of the Theological Faculty offer valuable insight into the social circumstances and the spirit of the University in that period. An attempt is made to demonstrate the extensiveness of thought in the work of professor Lorenc as it developed within the Belgrade University, as well as its role in the wider society of his time.
